Dinwiddie Students Place Top in Competition
In February 2020, Dinwiddie High School students taking building and trade courses participated in the Skills USA Masonry District Competition. The SkillsUSA Masonry competition highlights skills training in the masonry industry. Students are expected to construct a composite brick and block project in a set amount of time that tests their ability to meet industry standards in quality. Chase Bishop won 1st place and Ryley Allen placed second. Unfortunately due to school closures in March, these students were not presented with their awards.
Students were presented later with their certificates and medals. Congratulations to these students and the building & trades instructor, Mr. Sam Porter! Go Generals!
