At the Virginia Board of Education’s September 23, 2021, meeting, Dinwiddie County Public Schools was one of the divisions designated as “School Division of Innovation”. This five-year designation serves to recognize the division’s work to lead transformative innovation in the Commonwealth.  Divisions were recognized for “designing and implementing alternatives to traditional instructional practices and school structures” in order to promote learning, readiness for college and careers, and good citizenship.  Dinwiddie County Public Schools is proud to implement programs to help students succeed while continuing to find new ways to improve and innovate learning practices and programs.
