Oct. 15 – Summer Residential Governor’s School & Governor’s World Language Academies Applications

Applications are now available for Summer Residential Governor’s School and Governor’s World Language Academies.
Applications are now available to 10th and 11th-grade students for the 2022 Summer Residential Governor’s School (SRGS) and the Governor’s World Language Academies. SRGS offers several programs in areas such as Humanities, Agriculture, Math, Science and Technology, Medicine and Health Sciences, Visual and Performing Arts, and World Language. The Governor’s World Language Academies includes full-immersion programs for French, German, and Spanish; and partial-immersion programs for Japanese and Latin.  These are highly competitive and intensive academic programs that are held at various colleges and universities throughout the state during the summer.
Student applicants must complete an application, a 2-page essay, and submit two teacher letters of recommendation. Applicants for SRGS should be gifted (or be exceptionally academically strong). Both programs require applicants to be emotionally mature, self-disciplined, and able to handle living independently on a college campus for up to four weeks of the summer.

**Applications for the Visual and Performing Arts program are due by Friday, November 11th

**Applications for all other programs are due Friday, December 3rd.
